Richmond Hill Mill Pond Splash

- Location: Mill Pond Park, Mill Street and Trench Street, Richmond Hill
Come to the headwaters of the East Don River in Richmond Hill to celebrate our natural environment and learn how to get involved in conserving it! This free family-focused eco-festival is held annually at Mill Pond Park. Click here for more information.
German Mills Creek/Don River Weekly Clean-up
With generous funding provided by Evergreen & Home Depot
Pitch-in and help clean debris and litter from German Mill Creek! Discover your local watershed - short nature talks are provided. Students earn community service hours and gain a valuable learning experience.
- Date: Sunday mornings throughout the spring, summer and fall seasons.
- Time: Start time is 9:30 a.m. until about noon or later.
- Location: Clean-up efforts concentrate on various locations along German Mills Creek in Richmond Hill, but may also include other locations within the Don and Rouge watersheds.

All cleanup equipment is supplied and light refreshments are provided. Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing - the weekly clean-up is rain or shine!
