Description

The evening begins with a question and answer period that helps to debunk myths surrounding bats. A video presentation introduces some of the world's interesting bat species and highlights the importance of bats and threats to their survival; while an active game simulates how bats navigate and find food by echolocation. Specific information will be provided regarding the natural history of common Ontario bats. The program will end with an exciting evening walk to see the colony of Little Brown Bats that inhabit the barn and to see bats hunting insects over the lake.
