Albion Hills Field Centre EcoSchools Stories 2009 - 2010
The Albion Hills Field Centre proudly highlighted our 5 year gold certified status this past year to all of our visiting groups. Students were involved in practical ways throughout their visit in energy conservation, waste and water reduction measures.
Earth Day 2010
Our visiting school planted 6 Red Oak trees and every student made seed spheres which contain mini pre-planted native seeds for naturalization back at their schoolyard.
Water Monitoring Challenge
Students monitored the water used for showering in their dorms. A friendly competition to see who could use less water, the boys or the girls!
