Fly Away With The Four Winds Kite Festival

(TORONTO, ON) - On May 1st, Kite enthusiasts will be ready to take to the skies at the 21st annual Four Winds Kite Festival at Toronto and Region Conservation's Kortright Centre for Conservation in Vaughan. At the event visitors will see the fabulous and fascinating kites take to the air at this great family outing. Young and old alike will get a chance to build and decorate their own kites, see professional kit flying demonstrations from Toronto Kitefliers and enjoy other springtime activities.

Other activities include: Sport kite demonstrations, strolling unicycle and jugglers, facepainting, teddy bear parachuting drop, tours of the Archetype Sustainable House and bird migration hikes.

Event Details:

WHEN:             Saturday, May 1, 2010 10:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m.

WHERE:            Kortright Centre for Conservation

                        9550 Pine Valley Drive, Vaughan, ON

COST:              The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children and seniors. Children under four are admitted free with their family. Members are free. Parking is $4 per vehicle.
