Auditing Trails for Accessibility at Oak Ridges Corridor Reserve

This summer members of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) have been pushing an odd looking baby carriage with a laptop. Staff have been auditing trails for accessibility using the state of the art process referred to as HETAP (High Efficiency Trail Assessment Process). HETAP is based on the Universal Trail Assessment Process that uses multiple trail assessment tools including clinometers, measuring wheel, compass and Garmin GPS units.
