Monarch Teacher Network

Sep 24, 2015

Every year, TRCA helps teachers in our region get up close and personal with beautiful Monarch butterflies in two-day workshops across the GTA. The goal is teach the teachers about the importance of preservation efforts and awareness they pass on to their students in class. Participants in these workshops learn about the Monarch's habitat, sole source of food - the Milkweed plant and about the cycle of life that brings three countries together in an epic migration from Canada to the United States and Mexico.
