ECO-Landscaping Displays and Spring Garden Talk with Garden Experts

Mar 19, 2013

For Immediate Distribution

(Toronto, March 19, 2013) In 2012 Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP) helped to make-over two front yards in the Lake Wilcox neighbourhood in Richmond Hill. SNAP installed rain barrels, stormwater soak aways and native plants to beautify these gardens and make them environmentally sustainable. The new gardens direct rain water from the roof to the garden to save on water bills and to help keep Lake Wilcox healthy. SNAP invites everyone to come out to a special Spring Garden Talk with garden expert Mark Cullen and garden author Lorraine Johnson, to learn how they can create a beautiful, modern easy to maintain eco-friendly front yard.
