Partners in Project Green Launches Energy Efficiency Technology Series Events

Toronto, March 19, 2012 - Partners in Project Green has launched a new event series for 2012 designed to highlight the latest in energy efficiency technologies and practices. Three "Energy Efficiency Technology Series" events are scheduled for 2012 focusing on HVAC systems, lighting and industrial processes.

The first event in the series will be held on Thursday, March 29th at the International Centre in Mississauga. In partnership with Enersource Hydro Mississauga, Hydro One Brampton, Toronto Hydro, Enbridge Gas, Trane, Willis Energy, Regen and Innovative Solutions, this event will showcase energy efficient HVAC technologies and practices, and feature presentations from local companies employing the latest HVAC technologies.

"From condensers to thermostats, an HVAC system is a key component in an energy efficient building," shared Chris Rickett, Senior Project Manager of Partners in Project Green.  "This workshop will show local businesses how to save valuable energy and dollars by following simple steps to a better heated, ventilated and air conditioned building."

Some of the topics to be covered in the workshop will include:


  • How to properly run a HVAC system to maximize energy reduction costs and environmental performance


  • Cutting edge HVAC technologies from solution providers


  • Incentives available from local utilities to accelerate payback periods
