Official Launch of Canada's Newest Photovoltaic Testing Program and Facility

On Friday, December 2, Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA) will officially launch the Photovoltaic Performance Verification Program (PVPV), a high-performance evaluation program for testing and showcasing Canadian solar technologies at The Living City Campus at Kortright in Vaughan. The program is the first in Canada to measure solar module energy yield performance.  This side-by-side, comparison provides Open Source data for consumers using traceable instrumentation and test procedures in accordance with international standards.

Media are invited to get an inside look at the new program at The Living City Campus, Canada's premier photovoltaic test facility,  and learn what the innovative program means for Canada's growing solar industry and consumers.

WHAT:  Official launch of the Photovoltaic Verification Program at The Living City Campus

11:45 a.m.   Meet at the Archetype Sustainable House then the group will be led to the PV Test Fields at noon.
