Learn more about greening your home and garden at the County Court Neighbourhood Festival

On Saturday, August 6, Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA), Region of Peel and City of Brampton host the County Court Neighbourhood Festival. The festival is a free family event that includes:

  • Free BBQ and prizes
  • Exciting ideas and eco-products for home and garden renovation!
    • Furnace and A/C
    • ENERGY STAR qualified windows, doors and home appliances
    • Insulation and eco-audits
    • Green home decor
    • Low flow toilets
    • Lawn and garden
    • Rain barrels
  • Kids zone and learning workshop (including Yellowfish Road environmental class for kids)
  • Vendor booths
  • Information about the Green Home Makeover

Residents will also learn more about the County Court Sustainable Neighbourhood Retrofit Action Plan (SNAP) project. TRCA, in partnership with City of Brampton and Region of Peel are currently working with local residents and businesses on the County Court SNAP which includes a series of local projects to help transform this 30-year-old neighbourhood to become more environmentally friendly and ready for climate change.
