    <p>HIGH WATER SAFETY BULLETIN</p>

<p>Issued To: 	School Boards, Municipalities, Local Conservation Authorities, Local Police, Emergency Services And Media</p>
<p><br />Toronto and Region Conservation advises that water levels and flow rates within rivers and streams are expected to increase given the rainfall in the forecast beginning tonight and continuing through the day tomorrow.</p>
<p>This situation could create dangerous conditions, and result in flooding in low lying and flood prone areas.  Drivers should avoid driving through water on roadways, and exercise extreme caution.</p>
<p>Please be aware of unsafe conditions, and exercise caution in areas near streams and rivers. Please alert any children under your care of these dangers and supervise their activities.</p>
<p>This High Water Safety Bulletin will be in effect from the afternoon of Monday, November 28, 2011 until Thursday December 1, 2011. For more information please contact the on-call Flood Duty Officer at 416.661.6514.</p>

<p>Expected rainfall amounts will increase water levels in rivers and streams and cause them to become fast flowing, creating dangerous conditions.&nbsp; Localized flooding in low lying areas, particularly on roadways, may occur.</p>

Expected rainfall amounts will increase water levels in rivers and streams and cause them to become faster flowing, creating dangerous conditions.</p>
